THJCA provides after school youth development, in-school support and summer enrichment programs that inspire a better future. We believe in creating unique opportunities for youth by offering services that wrap around their entire lives.


What are Wrap- Around services and programs?

THJCA uses defined planning processes to build constructive relationships and support networks among children, youth and their families. This is significant because it is community based, culturally relevant, individualized, and family centered. It also provides a comprehensive and holistic way of helping the child or youth in need. As a team, we work together to put the plan into action, monitor how well it’s working, and change it as needed.

THJCA enriches the lives of children through the arts by offering live arts experiences in dance, music, spoken word, healing/expressive arts,  and/or public performances and exhibitions.


Our literacy-based programs offer tools for early learners grasping the most basic concepts to skilled learners mastering subjects like reading, writing, public speaking and financial literacy. 


THJCA mathematics programs utilize an interactive environment to help students develop problem-solving skills and logical reasoning processes required to solve math problems.


STEM & STEAM programs offer a wide array of kid-friendly curricula covering the breadth of STEM/STEAM subjects. This program boosts skills of indvidual growth through communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. 

Character Development

Character Development and Emotional Intelligence is an integral part of THJCA programming. Focused character building fosters ethical, responsible, and caring young people by modeling and teaching behavior with an emphasis on universal values.

Health & Nutrition

Integrated health and nutrition programs encourage healthy outcomes for youth by providing physical activities, promoting hands-on nutrition classes, and engaging parents to encourage healthy lifestyle choices at home.
